Singularity Hub Article, March 22, 2010. A few months ago we mentioned how Paolo Zamboni developed an amazing possible “cure” for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) that’s based on a radical new theory of what causes the condition. There has been rampant speculation inside and outside the medical community as to whether Zamboni’s theory and treatments are sound. Now, at least some of that speculation can be put to rest. It’s too soon to know if this will confirm Zamboni’s results, but there’s no doubt that this is an exciting moment in the MS community. Is a cure finally within reach? Read more… »

Riding for a cure for MS,

Finding a cure for MS right now is crucial. The number of people living with multiple sclerosis increases every hour of every day. This astonishing rate is not going to diminish, nor will it stop, until we have found a cure. Research has made some incredible advances recently, but the world can still only offer disease management drugs and therapies to the 400,000 people living with MS in America.

Help Our Team Move Toward a Cure for MS!

We’ve formed a team for the Arizona Bike MS Round Up Ride because we know that the miles we ride are nowhere near as difficult as confronting a lifetime with multiple sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society gives us all reason to hope, though. In addition to supporting novel research projects around the globe, they also provide much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS – including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them.
